He regularly travels to Paris and the Greek Isles, capturing local storefronts, flower shops, and cafes en plein air.

Here we have an original watercolor of an American street scene, capturing a man sitting on a bench, in front of "Mom + Pop's" grocery fruit shop. The dressed man is sitting with an arm over the bench and the other in his lap, looking to his side as if observing passersby.

Botich was born in Chicago in 1937 and studied at the American Academy of Art.
