The design includes three hand-painted abstract face with bold black strokes and striking red lips. Each face has a different hair style. Ulrica Hydman-Vallien (1938-2018) as one of Sweden's most celebrated glass artists, working extensively with Kosta Boda from the 1970s onwards. Her "Open Minds" series, featuring distinctive painted faaces on glass, became iconic in Scandinavian design and is highly sought after by collectors. These pieces were produced from the 1980s through the early 2000s, with each piece hand-painted and signed by the artist, making every piece unique. See less
