Offered is a vintage Counterpoint Pottery turtle desk-top tape dispenser made in Japan. circa. the 1960s to 1970s.
It features a cream-colored matte glazed stoneware body with brown polka dots, speckled details, and a turtle shape where the head holds the tape cutter edge. It comes with its original removable tape roll holder.

The stoneware figurine is intact and … moreThis is a vintage utilitarian object from an estate sale in its found condition. The stoneware figurine is intact and there are no nicks, chips, fleabites, or cracks. The metal tape cutter affixed on the turtle's head shows the patina of its age (see photos) and a bent corner (see photos). It comes with the tape roll holder (core wheel) that easily slides in and out through its crafted side suspenders. Any imperfections in its craftsmanship are innate, and any wear is commensurate with its age and past usage. less
