The squat globular body rises to a scalloped rim, while broad metallic-gold vertical bands accentuate each moulded lobe and continue into the richly finished lower body.

The glossy turquoise/aqua glaze contrasts dramatically with the reflective gold decoration, creating the theatrical postwar palette strongly associated with Mid-Century Modern California ceramics and Hollywood Regency interiors. Its compact four-inch height and pronounced sculptural modelling give the vessel considerable decorative presence despite its modest scale.

The underside is hand inscribed “Made in Hollywood / 50,” providing a direct 1950 date and Hollywood origin. The piece is attributed to Tudor Potteries / Tudor Art Pottery on the basis of documented examples carrying the same distinctive handwritten “Made in Hollywood” marking convention.
