This is an exceptional antique Victorian Eastlake walnut dresser with towering architectural mirror, dating to approximately 1875–1890. Features elaborate carved and incised decoration, tall paneled mirror with ornate crest, flanking candle shelves, two small glove drawers, three full-width drawers, hand-cut dovetail construction, period brass ring pulls, and a beautiful inset reddish marble dressing surface. The dramatic architectural form shows strong Eastlake and Renaissance Revival influence.
Authentic late-19th-century construction with wonderful aged character throughout. Displays age-related wear, finish variation, scratches, some hardware loss/replacement, and deterioration to the mirror silvering consistent with its approximately 140-year age. Drawer locks work, and replacement key is included. Missing back panel.
