Charming antique French Provincial wooden wine bottle carrier featuring a tall pierced carrying handle, two circular bottle openings, lower supporting shelves, and four turned corner posts with carved finials. The beautifully aged wood retains a warm, dry natural patina with visible wear and surface character developed through years of use.
Included are two vintage molded-glass bottle inserts/jars, one showing embossed lettering on the base. The carrier accommodates two standard wine bottles, as shown for scale. Its unusual architectural construction and primitive hand-finished appearance give it wonderful French country and European farmhouse character.
