Vintage Folk Art Decoupage decorative bowl/vide poche (ca. 1930s, USA).
A wonderful example of tramp art and Tobacciana handmade by clipping and assembling cigar bands under the glass vessel and adhering felt to the base to prevent loss or movement. Additionally, the central figure, a woman in a red fez, enhances the cigar motif, as the red fez inspired the Western Victorian smoking cap.
Patina/light wear present (natural patina to cigar bands) and heavy wear to the felted underside.
