An early 20th Century (1900-1920s) primitive and naive Folk Art wooden sculpture that's been hand carved and painted. What is so unusual about it, and that sets it apart, and the reason we fell in love with it, is the elongated legs and the lamb-like head. At least that's what we see. And that's what makes it unique in our eyes, in a humorous and joyful sort of way. Of course the aged patina is gorgeous as well. So, if you're a collector of just Americana items, this one is a delight. The execution on it is superb.
