The pieces are executed in pale Wedgwood blue Jasperware with applied white sprigged bas-relief decoration drawn from the firm's established Neoclassical vocabulary.

The 5-inch vase has a compact bottle shape with applied white floral ornament and a prominent classical putto relief. Its matte blue body provides the ground for the raised white decoration, with the relief sharply defined against the unglazed Jasperware surface. The underside carries the WEDGWOOD / MADE IN ENGLAND factory identification together with an impressed 60.

The open heart-shaped dish measures 4.75 inches long and is bordered by applied white foliate wreath surrounding a central classical figural scene. The relief follows the contours of the heart form, combining scrolling foliage and figural decoration within a shallow presentation dish.

The coordinating covered heart-shaped trinket box measures 5.5 inches across and 2 inches high. White applied relief extends across the lid and around the sides, incorporating classical figures, floral garlands, foliage and rosette motifs. The fitted lid continues the relief programme of the lower body, creating a fully decorated three-dimensional form rather than limiting the ornament to the upper surface.

The group is factory marked WEDGWOOD / MADE IN ENGLAND and represents Wedgwood's continued production of pale blue Jasperware with white applied classical relief during the late twentieth century.
