Italian metal and faux leather chairs by Maltoni Carlo Arredi Metallici, 1930s
Chairs with armrests, featuring a curved tubular metal frame with an exposed metal finish. The seat and backrest are upholstered in dark green faux leather, while the armrests are completed with matching padded elements applied to the upper part of the tubular frame. The structure features front and rear legs connected by horizontal stretchers, with simple, continuous lines achieved through the bending of the metal. The rectangular backrest with rounded corners is supported by two rear metal uprights.
Produced by Officina Meccanica Maltoni Carlo Arredi Metallici, 1930s. Maker’s mark present.
Vintage condition. The chairs show various signs of age across the metal. The faux leather shows signs of use and cracking.
