The set comprises six side chairs and two armchairs, with gently curved backs, clean architectural lines, saber-form legs, and elegantly shaped open arms on the two armchairs. The chairs have been fully restored and newly upholstered in olive green performance velvet. Brass nailhead trim outlines the inner backs, while the outer backs are finished in a complementary green and off-white striped fabric, adding a tailored contrasting detail. The maple frames retain a warm aged finish with natural variations in color and patina. Each chair has been structurally restored and revised, and the frames have been cleaned and polished with wax. Solid and stable. A distinctive set of eight French Art Deco dining chairs, combining elegant proportions, warm maple frames, and newly updated upholstery.
