The cast reproduces the celebrated bust of caracalla preserved at the national archaeological museum of naples, part of the farnese collection.

the piece was subsequently reinterpreted through a refined contemporary decorative treatment. The face is divided into two distinct finishes: one half is rendered in an ebony tone with subtle warm nuances, while the other is covered in copper leaf and patinated to create a luminous yet deliberately aged surface. The drapery features a glossy brown finish reminiscent of leather, while the plaster base is hand-painted with a faux-marble effect.

the contrast between the classical iconography of caracalla and the contemporary reinterpretation of its surfaces gives the bust a striking sculptural and decorative presence, equally suited to classical, contemporary, and eclectic interiors.
