The console is equipped with … Read more Italian Neobaroque console from the late 19th century, featuring a richly carved and ebonized structure. The console is equipped with a pair of drawers set into the under-shelf band, supported by a mirrored back panel. The front legs, sculpted as caryatids, rest on a paneled base with feet decorated with ferine heads. The upper mirror is beveled, with uprights adorned with fruit carvings and a central mascaron. It also features a male figure on the right and a female figure on the left. The upper band is enriched with a central face and lateral mascarons. The crest is decorated with a central shield, accompanied by a pair of putti and a basket of fruit, completed by two leafy plumes on the sides. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
