Vintage Home is pleased to present this large Japanese Satsuma hand-painted Moriage Porcelain Table Lamp. The technique of Satsuma pottery is believed to have begun in the Meiji Period. It features deep rich polychrome and raised gold accents. This lamp also features a Moriage depicting males and females is raised relief featuring lines, dot patterns and geometric patterns. We love all the geometric bright colored patterns on this lamp. And finally it has a raise relief dragon wrapped around the top of the lamps body. Beautifully executed
