Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso cranberry pink red color and controlled bubbles Italian art glass decorative bowl. The piece is attributed to designers Flavio Poli and Archimede Seguso for Seguso Vetri d'Arte, circa 1930-1940s. The bowl is created in the "Bullicante" technique, made with hundreds of little bubbles within the glass. You can see on the closeup of one of the arms the definition in the layers. The piece has a triangle shape, with each corner pulled out, and the middle areas are pinched and folded inwards. The bowl is made with very thick glass. and heavy for the size. Would make a great display piece on any coffee table, dresser or credenza. Could be used as an ashtray. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 7 1/4” long x 7” wide x 2 3/4" high.
