This piece was created for Heizer’s exhibition at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. The poster dates to the exhibition held from March 17 through June 10, 1984. The large-format composition combines geometric forms, architectural elements, gestural lines, paint drips, handwritten notations, and layered passages of blue, cream, pink, red, black, and white. Exhibition information is printed along the lower edge, while the composition bears a printed “Heizer 83” signature and date within the image. The poster is presented under glass in a slender pale pink metal frame. It is good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. See less
