No two are drawn alike. Horses, deer, roosters, songbirds and a single small figure wander between the trunks, and tiny water-mark squiggles scatter across the open cream ground like a meadow in the wind.

Colors and shades include: Ivory, oatmeal, brick red, rust, cornflower, denim blue, moss, chartreuse, slate violet and charcoal.

Hand-knotted in Afghanistan in Ghazni wool on a cotton foundation with natural dyes. Borderless, so the garden runs edge to edge, with a soft oatmeal abrash through the ground.
