Measuring approximately 11 inches long, the piece has a dramatic sculptural profile and beautifully aged brown-black surface. The slender turned nozzle, serrated transition detail and warm leatherwork contribute to its handcrafted, primitive character.

An appealing wall accent for a study, library, lodge, rustic interior or collection of Early American and Western objects. Powder horns were traditionally carried from long shoulder straps, which explains this example’s characteristic hanging arrangement.
