A matched pair of Wedgwood English Cottage Collection “Mist” dinner plates, manufactured between 2000 and 2005. Each plate measures 10.75 inches in diameter, corresponding exactly to the documented dinner-plate form within the Mist pattern.
The porcelain plates are decorated with a broad green patterned border following the gently scalloped rim, surrounding a cream to white central field. A pink rose with accompanying foliage provides the principal central floral motif, combining traditional botanical decoration with the restrained English Cottage vocabulary of the collection.
The undersides carry the printed Wedgwood English Cottage Collection “Mist” backstamp and identify Germany as the country of manufacture. Although produced under the Wedgwood name, these examples belong specifically to the German-manufactured English Cottage Collection rather than earlier English Wedgwood production.
At 10.75 inches across, these are the standard Mist dinner plates rather than the larger service plate or charger form. The pair remains in excellent condition.
