The surface is composed of an irregular grid of rectangular and linear color blocks in saturated brick red, ochre yellow, burnt sienna, and pale robin's-egg blue, each segment separated by hand-drawn black outlines reminiscent of leaded stained glass or a Mondrian-inspired mosaic. The glaze itself carries a glassy, kiln-fired depth, with the reds and blues taking on a rich, almost jewel-toned saturation where the glaze pools slightly thicker, while the ochre and sienna tones show a soft matte crackle characteristic of hand-applied ceramic glazing from the period.
