A good copy of a very interesting book "Matisse Picasso" for the New York exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art, 13 February - 19 May, 2003, and at the Les Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais, Paris, 25 September 2002 - 6 January 2003, and Tate Modern, London, 11 May - 18 August 2002. Published in 2002 by Tate Publishing. Softcover. 400 pages. This landmark publication accompanied a major collaborative exhibition and contains around 30 essays exploring the artistic dialogue, rivalry, and friendship between Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso. The book is heavily illustrated, featuring numerous full-color and black-and-white images, showcasing major masterpieces from both artists that had rarely been seen together. Good condition - age wear, scratches and few creases to the softcover, some edge wear on the corner of the pages, the pages are clean with no pencil or pen marks.
