Antique hand-knotted Caucasian Kazak rug featuring a striking geometric composition of stacked medallions surrounded by richly patterned borders. The central field combines bold star and stepped motifs with smaller geometric devices rendered in saturated brick red, indigo and medium blue, warm ivory, brown, and subtle accent colors.
