An antique J & P Coats attr spool cabinet, crafted from oak and dating to approximately 1900. This cabinet features four drawers, each fitted with a pair of fluted brass pulls. The design includes decorative carved pilasters flanking the drawers and a molded top and base. Spool cabinets were originally used in general stores to display and store thread spools, and they are now sought after as decorative and functional storage pieces for various collectibles or small items.
