Measuring an impressive 65 inches high while only 8.75 inches deep, this cabinet was specifically constructed to hang against the wall rather than stand independently. The original substantial iron hanging bracket remains mounted to the back.

The architectural case features a gracefully shaped and layered molded cornice, an arched single door with diamond-pattern metal mesh, and a molded lower edge. The door opens to reveal a wonderful contrasting blue-painted interior with multiple wooden display shelves.

Its unusually shallow depth makes it particularly desirable for displaying pottery, collectibles, books, glassware or decorative objects without the footprint of a conventional cabinet. It would make a dramatic statement in a kitchen, dining room, hallway, library or collection room.

The cabinet retains attractive age and character throughout, including expected surface wear, variations to the finish, old construction marks and age-related imperfections. The back shows traditional board construction and retains its heavy iron wall-hanging hardware.
