Luxurious hinged box/trunk on stand reminiscent of designs by both Karl Springer and Tommi Parzinger, but unattributed (ca. 1970s/80s, USA).

Composed of beige parchment with marbled/sponged patterning supported by a nickel plated rectangular base with a corresponding round sculptural decorative pull.
Functional, elegant piece that, given its size, can double as an end table or nightstand.
Excellent, vintage condition with natural patina to the nickel present, as shown, along with light, general wear.
Often presented as an official Karl Springer design. Unmarked and no such catalog example has been identified.
