This beautiful table is made of wood with a rosewood veneer and lacquer finish resting on four long nicely designed legs.
Table has a 48.5 cm butterfly leaf extension, enabling it to change from a round shape and unopened size of 120 cm to a 168.50 cm oval shape, to comfortably seat between 4 and 6 people (please see photos for the variations.)
To open and extend the table, simply unlock the 2 hooks under the table top, slide gently to open and slowly unfold the butterfly extension, then gently guide each end towards the leaf, until it is firmly in place. Then lock the table top with the four hooks (two under the table top and two under the extension).
The table is in good original and vintage condition, with some light signs of age and previous usage commensurate with time, some light faded colors as well as a patina of age, on the table top, edge,; table apron/ skirt; table leaf extension and legs. (Please refer to the close-up photos where we have placed a 1 cent coin, for perspective.). Very light micro-scratches of usage on table top ( see photo)
The legs of this table are removable if one needs to move it from one room to another.
