Striking 1980s figurative oil on canvas painting signed Carver, depicting an elegant woman seated beside a pink flamingo in a lush tropical waterside setting. Tall flowering plants, lily pads, and a water lily surround the figures, while soft shades of turquoise, lavender, coral, pink, and green create a dreamy tropical atmosphere. Signed “Carver 85” in the lower right, indicating 1985. Presented in an ornate dark bronze and gold-tone frame with a linen liner and gilt inner border. A wonderful statement piece for a tropical, Palm Beach, Hollywood Regency, or eclectic interior.
