This Aesthetic Movement Bread Platter "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread"

An exceptional and rare late 19th-century Victorian porcelain bread platter, beautifully capturing the spirit of the Aesthetic Movement (circa 1880–1890).
This striking, collector-quality piece features a bold asymmetrical layout split diagonally by an intricate geometric gold-gilt band. One half showcases a delicate, hand-detailed nature vignette depicting a sunset landscape, wild grasses, and a butterfly on a white porcelain ground. The opposing half is finished in a vibrant, high-gloss cranberry-ruby red glaze.

The platter is flanked by elaborate, relief-molded wheat-sheaf handles that are heavily highlighted in bright gold gilding. The outer rim is elegantly embossed with the traditional Victorian motto: "Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread."
A magnificent example of period tableware that makes a stunning display piece or a focal point for a curated antique collection.
Very god antique condition, consistent with age and use.
Normal original glaze crazing to the underside due to age and use.
