Freeman & Son (IFS Ltd). This beautiful collectible stands at 6.625 inches tall and is crafted from silver over heavy copper (Sheffield plate style) and features dramatic lion’s-head mask monopodium feet with paw bases.  Hand-chased floral, leaf, and scroll motifs across the flared baluster body.  The top is a tiered, pierced shaker cap topped with an elegant spiral/flame twist finial.

Made in England (specifically produced in Sheffield / London, England). The manufacturer mark IFS Ltd stands for Israel Freeman & Son Ltd., a prominent British silversmithing and silver-plating firm.
Made in the Mid-20th Century (approximately c. 1940s – 1960s). Israel Freeman & Son produced high-quality reproduction pieces in silverplate over copper (in the traditional Sheffield plate manner) featuring Victorian and Regency hand-chased styles during this era.
