Its exceptionally long, narrow top rests on slender legs joined by traditional horizontal stretchers, reflecting the straightforward construction and understated beauty of Chinese country furniture. Generations of use have given the elm a wonderfully weathered surface, with visible grain, worn edges, natural variations, and a rich patina that only develops with age.

At 82 inches long yet only 16 inches deep, this is an ideal piece for making a statement without overwhelming a room. Use it behind a large sofa, along a long hallway, in an entryway, or as a display table for art, pottery, and collected objects. Its clean silhouette and aged texture work beautifully in Santa Fe, farmhouse, mountain modern, minimalist, or contemporary interiors.
