The Nevada mine produces this gorgeous color of Turquoise created in nature when when zinc and iron content appears in the copper aluminum
phosphate mineral changing the hue from blues to greens. The Apple Green/Lime Green is the most rare of green turquoise. The Carico Lake Mine has a very short mining season each year due to Harsh winters and high-desert summers. It is named after a dried-up lake bed. This pendant necklace is fabulous featuring a thick and heavy chain of more than 10 oz. of sterling. The unique shaped Cobochon gemstone is in a pear shaped setting with an etched Palm Tree design on the back side. We could not locate a resource to identify the silversmith. A stunning heirloom piece to add to your jewelry collection. At the time of listing we also offered a turquoise beaded bracelet and a pair of stud earrings with apple green Carico Lake turquoise in our shop.
