The swollen cylindrical body tapers gently towards a flared, ochre-glazed neck and rim. Attributed to the design direction of Léon Solon and John Wadsworth for Minton's Secessionist range, the vase dates to circa 1905. The underside bears the printed Art Nouveau Minton mark alongside the range designation 'No 1' and impressed shape numerals. The vase measures 22.2 cm in height by 10.8 cm across the rim. Fine age-related crazing extends across the glaze, typical of lead-glazed earthenware from this era, with no chips, cracks or repairs. See less
