Stunning, tall, highback Adrian Pearsall model 2051-C Dining Chairs in crushed green velvet. The tufted, tapered high back profile evokes a regal sophistication that commands respect. Previous owner updated the chair with this fabric. The dramatic profile is achieved with a multifaceted form and striking tall back. The textured material has an iridescence which alters the colors and tones from different angles. There is a mix of light green, olive and chartreuse throughout. Dining chairs are rarely this comfortable, and the soft, velvety fabric only makes them more cozy. The stately, sculpted, solid walnut bases are perfectly contrasted with the plushness of the fabric.
The FMV restoration team covets this unique line and labors with love through techniques perfected over the years. The walnut bases have been repaired, re-glued, touched-up and detailed to excellent condition. The results speak for themselves.
