Mounted on acid-free archival quality board and framed in a slightly sepia antiqued silver gilt solid wood Italian moulding by Larson-Juhl. The sepia antiquing finish tones down the silver and lies somewhere between gold and silver; we call it "gilver" to compliment most interiors and doesn't detract from the vibrance of the art.

Two long-tailed birds with spotted tail feathers perch on a flowering birch-like tree among chartreuse-edged peonies with blush centers and pale blue leaves, above a soft, rolling ground.

Because the silk is surprisingly durable, as evidenced as its use in larger scale as wallpapers, we left them un-glazed so the silk’s weave texture's visible upon close inspection.
