Continuous narrow reeding runs vertically across the entire face, wrapping the doors and drawers, so the front reads almost like fluted millwork. The pale bleached oak finish keeps the color cool and chalky, while the reeded grooves catch light and shadow throughout the day.

It is built from quartered white oak veneer over a solid case, which is exactly the right pairing for this kind of fine, repeated detail: the quartered grain stays calm and consistent so the reeding can do the visual work. Long slim vertical bar pulls in a dark metal finish line up across the doors, and the case settles onto a built-in plinth base with a softly arched cutout apron. The top is a thick rectangular slab with gently eased corners.

This credenza is at home in a dining room, living room, or entry hall that wants a calm, refined contemporary anchor with surface interest. Use it as a sideboard for serving, as a media console, or as a long base for art and lamps. Pair it with linen or boucle upholstery, a textured rug, and warm metal lighting to balance the cool bleached oak and the dark hardware. See less
