The red limestone in Missouri is a common sight AI tells us: "Limestone itself is typically white, gray, or tan, but Missouri's geology is heavily influenced by nearby iron-rich regions, like the St. Francois Mountains." Here Marina gives us the red gravel that's been washed into the Big Indian Creek in the foreground. The painting was created at the Big Indian Creek and measures 8x 10 inches. The White clouds float by in the sky and the the trees surround the water. The painting sits in an ornate frame with a warm rustic feeling. Overall, the frame measures 9 and 5/8 inches by 12 and 5/8 inches.
