Bring vibrant color and timeless elegance to your space with this stunning vintage Chinese export porcelain baluster-form vase, expertly mounted as a table lamp.
The vase is beautifully hand-painted in a rich polychrome palette featuring traditional Rose Mandarin / Famille Rose courtyard figural scenes bordered by intricate floral motifs, butterflies, and auspicious symbols. The neck features molded, gilded chi-dragon / Foo dog handles that add a beautiful layer of texture and historic charm.
The porcelain body rests securely on a carved dark wood stand, complementing the rich tones of the artwork. It is crowned with a contemporary, saturated red drum lampshade that instantly modernizes the piece, making it a perfect statement for eclectic, maximalist, or classic Chinoiserie interiors. This is a pre-owned item so please see all pictures and ask any questions.
