Ben Touchine (1933-2013) was an American Dine’ Navajo Silversmith. He came from a family of Native American silversmiths. He is known for crafting Southwestern silver jewelry. He favored traditional Navajo aesthetics with nugget-style stone placement. He specialized in inlay work and favored cuff bracelets and watches. This large cocktail ring features his inlay work with a bird of jet sitting on a branch of turquoise pieces. The image is inlaid in an oval Mother-of-Pearl shell which is set in a sterling setting that has 12 cabochon turquoise stones. One-of-a-kind magnificent cocktail ring
