Vintage red hand-knotted wool Bokhara style tribal runner rug featuring characteristic geometric elephant's footprints. Bokhara rugs are popular and famous for their rich crimson-red background and distinct repeating geometric patterns.
The classic pattern showcases repeating rows of geometric medallions. Historically woven by nomadic Tekke tribes in Central Asia region of Uzbekistan.
