A vintage Chinese wooden side cabinet featuring a heavily distressed pale cream lacquered finish and traditional brass hardware. Rectangular in form, the cabinet presents two upper drawers, each fitted with a circular brass ring pull. Below, a pair of paneled doors opens to reveal a dark wood interior with a single shelf, providing convenient storage for linens, tableware, books or everyday household objects.
The doors are accented with exposed brass hinges and a circular brass center plate fitted with teardrop-shaped pulls, lending the piece a distinctly Chinese character. Raised on four short straight legs, the cabinet has a compact yet substantial silhouette well suited for use as an entryway cabinet, bedside table, bar cabinet or decorative storage piece.
The extensively weathered lacquer reveals areas of warm brown wood and darker underlying tones, creating a richly textured, timeworn appearance. With its practical interior and pronounced rustic finish, this vintage Chinese cabinet would bring relaxed character and useful storage to a contemporary, farmhouse or globally inspired interior.
