Pair of mahogany knife urns, dating to circa 1930 and modeled in the Federal style. Each urn has a covered, urn-form body on a stepped pedestal and square plinth, with turned finial and restrained molded bands. The dark brown finish emphasizes the formal, symmetrical profile. A pierced interior insert is visible in one urn, consistent with the knife-urn form. Offered together as a pair, these decorative vessels reflect the continued use of Federal-period forms in early 20th-century furnishings.
