Originally from the province of Mantua, Giulio Falzoni trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, where he immediately distinguished himself with his use of watercolor, a technique he later specialized in in London. His work was closely linked to his origins, with numerous rustic and bucolic views of the Mantuan countryside, but his favorite themes were essentially two: views of old Milan (and, to a lesser extent, other cities he lived in), and horses, a recurring theme in his work, both alone and inserted into city views. Presented framed. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
