The pair of Suitcase armchairs, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti in the 1990s, represents a significant example of Italian design from that period. The leather upholstery, combined with foam padding, offers enveloping comfort, while the chrome metal feet add a touch of modernity and sturdiness. Although they show some signs of wear, typical of use and time, these armchairs maintain their functionality and original charm. Ideal for environments that favor sophisticated design, the Suitcase armchairs naturally fit into contemporary living rooms or spaces dedicated to relaxation. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
