The rectangular plank top rests on four straight legs joined by horizontal stretchers, creating an open, architectural silhouette characteristic of traditional Chinese country furniture. Generations of use have given the elm a warm, naturally weathered finish with visible grain, worn edges, old markings, and subtle tonal variations that give the piece its authentic character.

Its versatile proportions make this table ideal as a writing desk, small dining table, console, or occasional work table. The open base and clean lines give it a light visual presence, while the beautifully aged elm adds warmth and texture to Santa Fe, wabi-sabi, farmhouse, mountain modern, minimalist, or contemporary interiors.
