Offered is a heavy textured art glass centerpiece bowl designed by Sidse Werner for Holmegaard Copenhagen in the late 1960s. The design is a tight starburst in a ridged crystal ice or Ice bark texture, and a scalloped edge, to resemble petals. The texture is on the exterior of the bowl, the interior is smooth. The bowl is perfect for fruit, a sumptuous dessert mousse, as a wide vase for flowers, or simply to display in your art glass collection - make sure it gets serious sunlight to show off its sparkle. There are 24 "petals" which will help you when arranging flowers. This piece is a timeless classic and will work with any decor, and will make an amazing wedding gift or hostess gift. And whether you choose to use it for salads, candy, trinkets, or display, it will do justice in any home. Weighs approximately 4 lbs.
