The gold-plated metal surface is worked with detailed veining and a textured finish, giving the broad leaf an expressive, organic character. A slender, curving stem connects the upper form to a circular base, balancing the intricate leaf with a simple supporting silhouette. Dating to the 1960s, the lamp reflects the Mid-Century Modern approach identified by the source, combining a recognizable botanical subject with a bold decorative presence. Its warm metallic finish emphasizes the modeled surface and flowing outline.

At more than seventy inches high, the lamp can anchor a seating area or introduce height beside a console, cabinet, or lounge chair. Its sculptural shape gives it a role beyond illumination, making it a focal point within a room. The leaf motif brings an organic counterpoint to straight furniture lines, while the gold tone can sit comfortably among wood, stone, and richly textured upholstery. Placed where its profile can be appreciated, the curving stem and broad leaf create an engaging composition from several viewpoints.

Offered as one floor lamp, it measures 21.25 inches wide, 20.25 inches deep, and 70.75 inches high. The source describes excellent vintage condition, with an original finish and a rich, even patina. No visible scratches, dents, or structural issues are reported. The piece retains the textured surface and naturalistic detail that define its design. See less
