Measuring 9'1'' x 11'9'', it is a 9x12 hand knotted Ziegler rug.

Ziegler designs grew out of Persian workshops that adapted traditional patterns with larger motifs and gentler colors for Western rooms. This rug's red field and blue border give it a rich and traditional look. It is hand knotted in Pakistan by skilled artisans from hand-spun local and fine merino wool with the Turkish double knot. A gentle abrash adds depth, and the pile is trimmed, stone-washed and sun-dried for a natural sheen and a soft feel underfoot.

Consider it for a large home office, a den, a sunroom or a lake or beach house living room. It suits traditional, transitional and farmhouse rooms and brings timeless elegance to any decor.
