The large gemstone displays a clear, warm honey-amber tone with golden highlights, catching the light across an arrangement of crisp triangular and kite-shaped facets. Encircling the central setting is an applied twisted-wire border that provides textural contrast against the polished gold surfaces. The basket mount is constructed with an open base beneath the gemstone, allowing natural light to enter from the underside and enhance the internal brilliance of the citrine. The yellow gold shank divides gracefully into bifurcated shoulders that flare outwards to support the oval mount. Just below the split, each shoulder is accented with incised transverse grooving before narrowing into a solid, unadorned lower band. An authentic period feature, the outer edge of the shank is stamped with a clear '9ct' purity mark.
