The contrast between satin-frosted surfaces and crisp, light-catching ridges reflects Lalique's traditional glassmaking techniques, terminating at a heavy, faceted gold-tone collar. Beneath the sculpted mascot sits a substantial cylindrical flacon of vertically fluted glass, designed to contain 100 ml of fragrance. The fluted reservoir is fitted with an integrated gold-tone spray atomiser, allowing the heavy crystal sculpture to serve both as a protective decorative over-cap and as a dramatic centrepiece. Complementing the flacon is a solid black granite display base. This allows the crystal mascot to be mounted independently as a paperweight or decorative car mascot sculpture when not resting atop the perfume bottle. Overall, the assembled piece stands 17.78 cm high, offering substantial weight and stability across both display configurations. Issued in 2000 as an annual collectable flacon for Lalique Pour Homme, the model draws direct design inspiration from René Lalique's famed 1930s radiator mascots. The glass is signed with an etched Lalique France mark along the lower rim and is accompanied by an original branded Lalique Paris card.
