Modelled in the James Hadley shape registered as 294/H, the vessel features an elongated ovoid body that tapers down to a neat, stepped spreading circular foot. The upper shoulder rises gently into a slender, concave neck terminating in an out-turned trumpet mouth, framed around the midpoint of the neck by an integral moulded collar ring. Standing approximately 22 cm high, the piece balances generous floral surface area with classical proportions. The botanical composition wraps across the curved porcelain exterior in layered washes of enamel colour. Alongside the two prominent open blooms, the decorator has rendered tightly furled buds, delicate stems, and serrated foliage in varied tones of moss green, olive, and russet brown. These floral elements emerge from a softly graduated background that transitions seamlessly between pale claret, warm ivory, buff yellow, and gentle sage tones. The painterly shading gives significant visual depth to the layered petals, catching the glazed gloss of the white porcelain body. Gilt embellishments accentuate the architectural lines of the vessel. Liquid gold borders encircle the flared rim and run in a slender band around the raised neck collar, complementing the blush pink wash applied to the upper throat. The circular base is similarly grounded by a burnished gilt band, creating a crisp metallic frame against the lower pale peach ground. Each gilded section retains smooth, intact lustre without distracting thinning across the high points. The underside carries the green printed Royal Worcester factory backstamp surmounted by a crown, with dots indicating manufacture circa 1909. Directly beneath the mark is the printed shape designation 294 over H, accompanied by painted decorator tallies in green script. The side of the body carries a painted artist signature nestled discreetly among the lower foliage. While tentatively associated in workshop traditions with factory decorators such as Ambrose Hood, the cursive lettering remains unconfirmed, preserving its authentic hand-executed workshop identity.
